Akosua Manu, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 parliamentary candidate for Adentan, has described former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the most dependable choice to lead the party forward.
Speaking in an interview on Metro TV, Ms Manu said the confidence party members and delegates have in Dr Bawumia is rooted in his leadership record, integrity and clear vision for the future of the NPP.
According to her, Dr Bawumia’s experience as former Vice President of Ghana and his role in shaping key national policies have prepared him adequately to guide the party through its rebuilding phase and into future elections.
“The safest pair of hands to put our great party in lies with Dr Bawumia,” she stated, adding that his calm leadership style and consistency continue to inspire trust within the party.
Ms Manu further called for unity among party members, stressing that rallying behind Dr Bawumia would strengthen the NPP and position it to reclaim the confidence of Ghanaians in the years ahead.
