A leading member of the Convention Peoples Party, Dr Kwaku King Emmanuel Osafo, is to contest for the flagbearership slot of the party come Elections 2008.
This was disclosed by an Executive member of The Patriot, an integral organ of the CPP in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Sunday.

Dr Osafo, a product of the Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute said CPP's National Delegates Congress would be quite an interesting one as there are indications that more credible and accomplished Nkrumaists would contest the flagbearership slot.
