Commercial drivers have been staging protests against the police in Akyem Oda.
They claim the police have been harassing them by indiscriminately arresting and arraigning them before court.
The drivers have refused to pick passengers today.
The divisional police commander for Oda, Superintendent Wisdom Akorle, dismissed the drivers’ claims.
He told Joy News that police have been on routine operations to enforce road traffic regulations.
