Ghana's acclaimed BigShot GH Band, known for their electrifying performances and collaborations with music legends including Ebo Taylor, will share their musical journey in an exclusive feature airing on JoyNews and Joy Prime.
The special segment will air on JoyNews this Saturday at 4:00 PM, with repeats on Sunday at 10:30 AM and Friday at 6:30 PM. Additionally, viewers can catch the feature on Joy Prime every Saturday at 4:30 PM.
Formed in 2008, BigShot GH Band established its current lineup five years ago. The group has dedicated itself to preserving and reinvigorating Ghana's musical heritage through innovative approaches.

The band focuses on researching and reimagining traditional Ghanaian folk songs, nursery rhymes, and children's play songs, transforming them into contemporary arrangements with international appeal.
Their work celebrates Ghana's rich Highlife tradition while incorporating elements of Afro-Jazz and Afrobeat, creating a distinctive sound that honors West Africa's musical legacy.

Renowned for their technical mastery and dynamic stage presence, BigShot GH Band delivers performances marked by sophisticated musical arrangements, inventive soundscapes, and captivating energy.
Their unique blend of traditional influences and modern creativity continues to elevate Ghanaian music on both local and global stages.

In more than five years playing in Ghana, the band has started to contribute their own style to contemporary African popular music and ‘world music’.
E Vibes, the show that delves into the backgrounds of celebrated personalities excelling in their chosen fields, is focusing this season on music bands in Ghana.
Dubbed #MusicalBandSeries, the programme is dedicated to celebrating and highlighting the incredible journeys of Ghanaian musical bands, showcasing their triumphs, challenges, and the bonds that keep them together.
