Police in the Eastern Region have mounted a search for two robbery suspects who broke cell on Monday.
The two, were arrested for allegedly looting a phone retail shop at Tease.
The complainant Isaac Glover is questioning the circumstances under which the suspects escaped from the watch of the officers.
"I couldn't believe it so I waited the following morning and i went to the police station to find out if the suspects were sent away to another station.
He said his fears were confirmed by the regional police commander that the suspects had escaped.
The Commander ACP James Abass told Joy News they are still hunting for the suspects.
He would not say if his men were negligent but admitted something went wrong for the suspects to escape.
He said their primary concern is to re-arrest the suspects and put them before court.
ASP Abass would not disclose exactly what they are doing to apprehend but implored the public to contact the police with any information that will lead to the re-arrest of the suspects.
He said the security will be reinforced at all police cells in order to prevent future escape by suspects.
