Faustina Donkor, a 22year old, an attendant at a popular eatery in Tema called Mummy’s Choice, is in the grips of the Police for allegedly trying to kill his boyfriend.
The victim, Michael Duatey, a 29-year-old machine operator at the Heavy Industrial Area in Tema, is said to be in a critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit of the Tema General Hospital.
Narrating the incident, Chief Inspector Olivia Turkson, told the Ghana News Agency that Dautey and Faustina were a couple, staying together at Community four in Tema.
She said on October 2, at about 5 am, Dautey told Faustina that he was no longer interested in the relationship, and asked them to go their separate ways.
According to Chief Inspector Turkson, Faustina who was not happy with the breakup, went to the kitchen, took a knife and stabbed Dautey in the upper part of his abdomen.
Dautey was later rushed to hospital by a Good Samaritan in the neighborhood when he shouted for help.
Meanwhile, the Police are investigating the matter.
