The Electoral Commission (EC) has declared Patrick Boamah as the winner of the Okaikwei Central parliamentary election.
This was announced at the EC's Greater Accra Regional office where the re-collation exercise took place.

The constituency has been one that was fiercely contested between the NPP candidate and Baba Sadiq, both of whom declared themselves winners in the end.
But after the re-collation ordered by the court, the returning officer declared the NPP incumbent the winner.
He polled 21,099 votes against Baba Sadique's 19,368.
Results from the remaining constituencies are expected to be announced later today.
