The first of a two day mock voting exercise at selected polling stations across the country has ended, Saturday with reports of a low turn-out across the country.
The exercise is to test the efficiency of the biometric verification system, educate political party agents and electorates on processes they will go through before they cast their votes in the December polls.
In Accra, the exercise is took place at the Sempe Mantse Polling station in the Ododiodoo constituency with little to report about.
Joy News’ Awuni Manasseh who observed the exercise said it was generally smooth with little hitches.

Speaking to Joy News the Principal Public Relations Officer of the Electoral Commission Sylvia Annor said the Commission is impressed with the exercise.
“So far, so good,” she said, adding, the machines are working perfectly.”
She hoped the a similar thing will happen in December.
