The Electoral Commission has expressed its readiness for tomorrow’s nationwide district assembly elections.According to the Commission, electoral materials are being dispatched to polling stations across the country.Ballot papers are expected to be distributed to all the regions of the country by close of work today.Acting Director of Public Relations at the Electoral Commission, Christian Owusu–Parry also assures of maximum security at every polling station.“We are aware that some people may want to take advantage of every situation so we asked that the candidates especially and their agents should be very vigilant and recalcitrant individuals to the attention of the Commission and then the necessary action will be taken,” he said.Mr Owusu-Parry said the police had assured enough men will be deployed to maintain security during the poll.Source: Joy News/Ghana
