Dr. Barfour Osei has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of the Export Development and Agricultural Investment Fund (EDAIF).
Dr Osei, a Development Economist, takes over from Dr. Nashiru Issahaku who has been appointed Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
Dr. Barfour Osei has over 30 years of experience as an economist with several international organizations.
He joins the Fund from the African Development Bank , where he was the Chief Economist.
He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow UK.
At a recent meeting with the staff he pledge to create an enabling environment to enhance the country's exports and staff productivity.
EDAIF supports activities of groups and institutions in the development and promotion of export products and provision of services to the export sector.
