The Education Minister, Dr Yaw Adutwum, has launched five-ultra-modern content generation studios in the country.
Posting the news on his Facebook timeline, the Minister explained that the studios are to boost e-learning and the digitisation of manual content across all levels of learning.
He further noted that the Centre will host them for National Distance Learning and Open Schooling (CENDLOS), an agency under the Education Ministry.
“The studios are part of the CENDLOS vision of making Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education effective and efficient, accessible and affordable to all students,” parts of his Facebook post read.
He also disclosed that the project is supported by the UKAID, Plan International Ghana and Dubai Cares.

“I am upbeat that the facilities will provide students access to online learning facilities irrespective of their location,” he said.
Online learning became dominant in 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic forced government to shut down schools.

Government the launch of the integrated online learning program, a platform that focuses on empowering and preparing young people for the job market of the 21st century.
The platform was expected to offer an extensive range of courses through partnerships with local businesses, organisations, industries and institutions to develop skills and competency for young people.

Additionally, that platform was to help graduates to find opportunities and put their skills into practice in the world of work.
The integrated learning platform provided an appropriate method of instruction, particularly for learners in rural settings.
