The Electoral Commission (EC) on Tuesday fixed Wednesday February 6, for the holding of elections to elect regional representatives to the Council of State.
In a statement to the Ghana News Agency signed by Mr Kwadwo Sarfo-Kantanka, EC Deputy Chairman in Charge of Operations said the Commission will take nominations on Monday and Tuesday January, 21 and 22 respectively from 8:00am to 12:00 noon and 2:00pm to 4:00pm each day.
The EC said nomination forms are available at all Regional Offices of the Commission.
Prospective candidates are required to submit two recent photographs (bust) to the returning officer on submission of the nomination forms.
