Committed to raising the next generation of innovators, Enterprise Computing Ltd.’s (ECL) Lab Services is pleased to mark a new milestone after the successful completion of its Python training for university students.
The week long training was held at ECL’s Corporate Headquarters in Tema which boasts of a Tier 3 data centre, a state-of-the-art labs and innovation station, a sophisticated 50-seater auditorium among other world-class facilities.
The training forms part of ECL’s CSR initiatives of equipping young talent across Africa with relevant skills as well as mentoring them. Led by product development experts, participants delved into the fundamentals of Python, exploring its functions, data structures, and applications in real-world scenarios.
Sessions were not merely theoretical lectures but encouraged immersive participation that stimulated engagement and problem-solving. Beyond improving python fluency and gaining technical competency, the participants engaged in activities that refined teamwork and communication skills.

The training also featured an integral session on cultivating a robust professional presence to enhance the attendees’ business acumen and provide adequate preparation for the corporate landscape.
The learning environment was enriched by the diverse backgrounds of the participants. It featured a composed blend of students, Ghanaian and international, with beginners seeking introduction to python programming, together with intermediates looking to expand skillset.
The participants came armed with curiosity and left equipped with cutting-edge tech skills, a network of like-minded tech enthusiasts and certificates. By empowering future tech leaders, ECL is building a more diverse, inclusive workforce and paving the way for a brighter future fuelled by innovation and teamwork.
