Ghanaian midfielder Elisha Owusu scored his first-ever goal in the French top flight in Auxerre's win over Brest on Friday, September 27.
Owusu scored the opening goal and assisted the third in his side's 3-0 win to record their second win of the 2024/25 French Ligue 1 season.
The left-footed player made a surging run into the box before being played through by Sinaly Diomande. The Ghanaian curled his effort into the bottom right corner to put his side ahead in the 26th minute.

11 minutes later, Auxerre doubled their lead from the penalty spot after the ball came off the hand of Brest's Edimilson Fernandes.
The newly promoted side went into the break with a two-goal lead and in command for all three points.
The home team wrapped up the win in the 61st minute after Owusu set up Hamed Traore to score the third goal of the game.
The 3-0 win saw Auxerre end a three-game losing streak and move to six points after six games played.
