Actress Emelia Brobbey who was alleged to have shoplifted in the United Kingdom, arrived Thursday night to a rapturous reception at the Kotoka International Airport.
Emelia Brobbey was alleged to have stolen a bracelet at a shop - Piercings - while on vacation in London recently and was also reported to have been arrested by the Police.
It was also alleged that due to the incident, an actress Gloria Agyeman, who hosted her, and another person, Eunice Akua Adjeiwaa are currently having issues with UK Border Agency’s Detention Centre and may be deported to Ghana because their visas had expired.
Emelia Brobbey, who was met on arrival by some movie personalities, including Akrobeto, Vivian Jill, and Mr Beautiful, told journalists the allegations leveled against her were false.
According to her, five months ago, she went to the UK to deliver and after the delivery, she went to shop with her baby in a pram.
