More often recurring misfortunes suffered by individuals especially celebrities are given spiritual meanings.

Shortcomings of these personalities become topics for public discussions because they find themselves in the public domain.

With the widely held perception that these celebrities are living good lives, their problems are often attributed to spiritual manipulations known in local parlance as ‘juju’.

But contrary to this notion, founder of the House of Miracles Church, believes work overload, frequent travels and the bad eating habits greatly affects the health and psychological well-being of public figures.

Prophet Samson Amoateng added that these challenges go a long way to affect other areas of their lives.

In an interview with Joy News’ Becky, he urged celebrities to take good care of their health and avoid blaming their setbacks on juju.

"At times you come back home in the night and you are hungry. You want to eat something but you are not supposed to eat a heavy meal as things like this can disturb your health.

"For about four years now if you study the stars, most of them have been hospitalised. There are always having issues with either cancer or another terminal disease. We shouldn’t spiritualise everything," the Prophet noted.

He warned celebrities not to sacrifice their health just to maintain their stardom because of the privileges it comes with.

"Before the stardom, somebody used to be there but where are they now? You too one day you will go…the Bible says that the latter glory shall be greater than the former glory. So the one who is coming after you is more than you", Prophet Samson emphasised.

He also noted that the current bitter rivalry in the entertainment industry is unhealthy.
