Kumasi-based gospel artiste, Kwaku Gyasi, has revealed why he is not in a hurry to release new songs.
The musician explained that his kind of genre is a ministration of God’s message hence his decision to wait for God’s direction regarding a release.
“I don’t need to do what the majority are doing. If you wait to hear from God, he demonstrates to you the ideal time to step out,” he said.
Mr Gyasi noted that he could have done other genres of music but felt he needed to use the gift God had given him for God’s own glory.
He urged fellow gospel artistes to stay in tune with God in order to receive guidance in their lines of duty.
“Gospel musicians shouldn’t write songs in the name of showbiz or for money but wait on God for songs because we need to do it for the impartation of lives,” he noted.
