For 11 years running, gospel musician Bernard Amakwah has assembled some of Ghana’s music greats and Christians under one roof to worship and praise God.
‘Celebration of His Grace’ concert, since its inception in 2007, has been the perfect atmosphere for music lovers and worshipers to come together to glorify their Maker.
Over the years, the concert has seen some of Ghana’s biggest artistes including Irene Logan, Jackie Mpare, Alabaster Box, EkubaYankey and Cynthia Appiadu of Daughters of Glorious Jesus, take the stage to thrill patrons to a night of unforgettable music and worship.
Last year’s edition, apart from the host, Bernard Amakwah, witnessed performances from Edith Marfo, Edwin Dadson, Selasie Osborn, Nii Dowuona, TY Crew, The Multimedia Choir, Divine Mercy Drama Ministry and others.
The concert marks its 12th edition on Sunday, September 22 at the National Theatre.
The 12th edition, Bernard Amankwah, noted, is his way of expressing profound gratitude to God for seeing him through the many challenges he encountered while growing up.
Organised by Bernard Amankwah’s Presence Ministry, this year’s concert will once again feature amazing performances on the night.
Artistes billed to support the gospel musician at this year’s concert include, MOG, KODA, The Martyrs Family, and TY Crew.
Known for supporting several charitable projects, including giving back to the needy, the gospel musician revealed that proceeds from the concert will be used to support the projects being undertaken by his foundation.
Bernard Amakwah has several albums including, ‘Presence’, ‘Presence II’, ‘Almighty’, ‘The Glory Has Come’ and ‘Holy and Mercy Rescue Me’ to his credit.
He is also credited with several hit songs, including ‘Presence’, ‘The Glory Has Come’, ‘Mercy Rescues Me’ and ‘I Am Redeemed’.
Sunday’s ‘Celebration of His Grace’ concert will also witness the premiering of Bernard’s new song and video, ‘One More Step’.
