’Nobody’ by Kwesi Arthur featuring Mr Eazi, has won over the hearts of many music lovers since its release.

The song is the fourth song on Kwesi Arthur’s album Live From Nkrumah Krom Vol 2 (LFNKII) released in April 2019. With fans enjoying the versatility the artiste offered on the album, the song did not immediately seize the attention of listeners.

However, it quickly peaked up after the video, which featured actress and TV show host Efia Odo, went viral.

The song has evolved to surpass African girl featuring Shatta Wale as the most popular song on the album but that may not be the end of its journey.

As Kwesi Arthur readies for his solo sold-out concert in London this July, many fans are waiting so patiently to see the artiste perform the song live for his audience.

At number two is ‘Shuga’ by Stonebwoy featuring Beenie Man. The song which had topped the charts twice in a row, is one of Stonebwoy’s numerous collaborations with foreign acts, his way of pushing Ghanaian style of music to the world.

Maintaining its position from last week is Fameye’s ‘Nothing I Get’. The song has pushed Fameye from being a struggling underground to gaining recognition in the mainstream.

Many Ghanaians who relate well with his song, have been digging into his other songs while some are eager to see what a young man who preaches “do not envy someone” in his song has to offer for the music industry.

The praise song ‘Nsenkyerene Nyankopon’ by Diana Hamilton has gained popularity on the music scene. With less than a month on the chart, the song has the capacity to be the first gospel song to lead the chart this year.

From number 14 last week to number 5 this week is ‘Zanku’ by Dope Nation. The popularity of this song proves one thing, Ghanaians are obsessed with songs that bring new dance trends.

Halfway into 2019 and the 2018 release ‘Kpo Keke’ from Stonebwoy featuring Medikal, Darkovibes, Kelvyn Boy and Kwesi Arthur is still making waves. The song is at number seven this week.

Maintaining the number eight position is ‘Jama’ by DJ Mic Smith featuring Patoranking and Shaker.

‘Omo Ada’ by Medikal takes over the ninth position. Although it has dropped after topping the chart six times in a row ‘Omo Ada’ still manages to get people on their feet anytime it plays, assuring it of its spot in the top ten.

‘Dzigbordi’ by Lord Paper has joined the top ten with just three weeks into the chart. The song is at number 10.

At number 11 is ‘Bad Energy’ by Guru featuring Kwesi Swat.

‘W’asue Me’ by Obaapa Christy is the number 12 song this week. Although ‘W’asue Me’ has done high up in the chart, it failed to top it.

For its second week on the chart Dondo by Kwaw Kese featuring Skonti is at number 13.

Making its debut on the chart at number 14 is ‘God is Alive’ by Shatta Wale. The dancehall artiste released the song after the run-in his camp had with Stonebwoy’s at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The two artistes lost their awards that evening but Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale saw that as an opportunity to mend their relationship.

’God is Alive’ according to the singer, is to prove he is going to stay strong regardless of the trials.

Steve Wonder’ by Wendy Shay featuring Shatta Wale is maintaining the 15th position.

At number 16 ‘Pilolo’ by Guilty Beatz, Mr Eazi and Kwesi Arthur, three positions down from its previous position.

Debuting on the chart at number 17 is ‘Power’ by Edem featuring Stonebwoy.

‘Sugar Daddy’ by KiDi featuring Mr Eazi is holding the number 18 position. The song appears on KiDi’s new album ‘Sugar’.

At number 19 is ‘Odo’ by Keche. This is the group’s first single of the year and also after they signed onto a new record label.

Another debut this week is ‘Yedin’ meaning keep quiet by new artiste Kweku Smoke featuring Sarkodie.

Be My Matter by Okyeame Kwame featuring Kuami Eugene and ‘Asew’ by Bisa Kdei is off the chart. Although ‘My Matter’ by Praye made its debut on the chart last week it failed to stay.
