The second edition of the National Gospel Music Awards is set to come off 22nd December, 2018 at CCB Auditorium of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
The award, aimed at rewarding hard working arts in the Ghana gospel industry is also to encourage up and coming artistes.
Compared to the maiden edition, there has been increased interest by the Gospel music fraternity as 79 new artistes filed for nominations this year.
Gifty Osei, Joe Mettle, Diana Antwi Hamilton, Barima Kusi, Patience Nyarko and Pastor Kofy have been tipped at the top spot for Best Gospel Album of The Year.
With just some few hours to the program, organizers are sure of improved event with style, glamour and security.
Chief Executive of Royal Akofena Entertainment, Peter Kwabena Dwobeng says patrons are assured of maximum security at this year’s awards.
“NGMA has come to stay. We are adding style and professional touch to this year’s edition as compared to last year. We are entreating the general public to comer in their numbers to grace the occasion,” he added.
