Social media on June 16, was flooded with messages for fathers and how hard some of them have worked for their families.
While some celebrities used the opportunity to release their rage on irresponsible men, others took advantage of it to share their stories with their fathers.
For Stonebwoy, the day was an opportunity to burst out all his father’s nicknames.
He shared a photo of his father on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Fathers Day To Mr G N K Satekla. aka. Holy Holy aka. Abide With Me aka. BHIM Father..And To All Fathers Worldwide â¤ï¸ðŸ’ªðŸ¾.”
For the first time, actress Moesha Boduong shared a photo of her father to celebrate him. According to her, the bond she shares with her “world” cannot be replaced by anyone.

“I love u, and that’s the beginning and end of everything!” are the screaming words of love actress Nadia Buari shared on Father’s Day for her husband and father of her four kids.

It was all prayers for Samini’s father as the dancehall artiste hopes to see his father live for long. Taking to Instagram to share a photo of his dad, he wrote, “#happyfathersdayDaddy. We pray for life and good health in an abundance for you mba. Live daddy â¤ï¸ #akyesaaaaaaaaaa#samini.”
Praye’s Choirmaster reminisced the tortures his father endured during the Rawlings regime. He commended his father for seeing his children grow regardless of his trials.

Retired soldier Ex WO1 Jacob Osei-Sarfo Kantanka had gotten an essay from his daughter, TV personality Gloria Sarfo.
The TV host says she is grateful now more than ever for the love and care she received from her father. For Gloria, being taught to be humble, tolerant and disciplined has paid off and she understands her father’s principles better at her age.

Sharing a photo of her dad, actress and show host Emelia Brobbey wished for more blessings on fathers across the world.

Rapper Kwaw Kese shared a photo of him carrying his baby with the caption “#proudfather’.
For others who were seen through life by their mothers, the day was dedicated to these mothers.
Actor and fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzi dedicated the day to his mother and mother of his son Pokello.
