After almost a year of separation but still being very much in each other's lives, Kris Jenner has filed for divorce from estranged husband Bruce Jenner.
This marks the end of a 23-year marriage.
Kris, 58, filed on Monday in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences, according to The Associated Press.
Kris and Bruce Jenner, 64, have two children together, Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 17, and the famed Olympian has taken Kris' children from a previous marriage -- Kourtney, Khloe, Kim and Rob -- as his own in the past two decades, even walking Kim down the aisle for her weddings. Bruce also has four other children from previous relationships.
The divorce papers add that the exes will seek joint custody of Kylie, the only minor child.
The couple, who first got together in 1991, first announced their separation Oct. 8, 2013, but the papers cite that they separated earlier in June.
"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the couple told E! News in a statement last year. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and as always, our family will remain our No. 1 priority."
Since that announcement, Bruce has still been very involved and seen on the family's famed show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," even adding their split into the story line. Bruce moved to the house in Malibu, while Jenner stayed in Calabasas, Calif.
Even in divorce, the two remain friends, with Kris calling Bruce "one of the most amazing men I know" in a tweet back in April at the time of their anniversary.
