The 2019 winners of Miss Ghana are being trolled on Twitter for not being fit enough to represent the country anywhere in the world.
According to the many users of Twitter, the ladies chosen as this year’s queens are not beautiful while others alleged the ladies may have won because of favours.
This backlash comes after photos of the ladies were posted on Citi Tv’s Twitter handle.
Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi, winner of the contest alongside Sarah Odei Amoani and Deborah Opoku Sarfo, 1st and 2nd runners up respectively, had their pictures shared on the channel’s twitter page as they readied for a live studio interview.
Like @bernardomayne who shared his displeasure claiming since Inna Patty, CEO of the event, took over the contest, it has not been as good as before. He added, the winners would not stand a chance against Miss Columbia, Phillipines, Australia and Brazil.
@Awonate believes it’ll be hard for someone to take the Miss Ghana contest serious again saying it basically makes a joke of the entire contest.

“I hope she won’t be representing us for Miss world, like ago make my granny represent,” another user wrote.
Hitting back at the trolls, user Kobby Quist, questioned why other ladies -who are making fun of the winners- stayed away from the competition if they were good enough.
Another user, Nancy, explained the contest was not just to look out for beauty. “It's about how intelligent and fluent you are and many more.”
This is not the first time someone has been tagged ugly.
In June, singer Wendy Shay suffered similar fate after her photos from a shoot went viral. The singer said she was strong enough not to allow the trolls to get the better of her.
Also in 2010, the winner of the Miss Ghana contest, Stephanie Karikari, received backlash after fans claimed she was not beautiful.
