Gospel singer Celestine Donkor has revealed that she was robbed in her home in the early hours of Tuesday.
Taking to Facebook to narrate her ordeal, she stated that the incident occurred between 12 am and 2 am.
The singer wrote that the robbers first stole from her room, then, locked them in the room before proceeding to her children’s room.
Her daughter who was startled after seeing a man dressed all in black began to shout.
“…the next thing she suddenly felt drowsy was knocked off. We had to break our door to come out. Thank God the kids are all ok and no one was hurt.”
The robbers took three phones – a Samsung S9+ an iPhones, two laptops, a tablet and all the money they had in the home, Celestine Donkor wrote.
According to her, checks revealed that the thieves gained access to her residence through her balcony.
“How they managed to enter our bedroom, picked our phones and locked us inside beats my mind. WE ARE HOME PHONELESS AND CASHLESS AT THE MOMENT.”
