Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has taken to Twitter to jab Sarkodie after it was announced SarkCess Music signee, Strongman, had parted ways with the rapper.
The label, owned by award-winning rapper Sarkodie, worked with the young talent with the aim of helping to market his enormous talent.
Strongman was signed in March 2017, but after several months of rumours of friction between both parties, they have agreed to go their separate ways.
Shatta Wale took to Twitter to blame the separation on Sarkodie’s finances.
The dancehall artiste alleged Sarkodie was too broke to extend the contract between him and Strong man.
He wrote, “If u get money as an artiste, you won’t worry when pushing a talent… it’s an investment from the money you have made but if you can’t push then my n*gga you broke ass.”
Some people did not take his comments lightly. They called him out on the whereabouts of the SM Militants he signed and also dragged in the career of his baby mama Shatta Michy.
One user, @Flamebwoy4 wrote “Abeg where they militant, mumu 1 mumu 2. Have u ever sign artist before in your life, you only sign weed smokers to form gangs.”
@Jay_son77 tweeted, “Please don't mind wale. Even Shatta Michy kraa he couldn't handle her.”
Also, artiste like Kwaw Kese has jumped in to defend Sarkodie. In a tweet, he called people to support and appreciate artistes like Sarkodie who are trying hard to push other artistes.
