The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has authorised the Kwahu Airport Limited to commence the proposed construction and operation of its airport project.
The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency, David Ansah Opoku, disclosed the information in a Facebook post on March 11.
He shared an image of the permit (No: C10048140102) issued by the EPA to the Kwahu Airport Limited.
Per the permit, the Agency acted in accordance with the Environmental Assessment Regulations, 1999 (LI 1652).
The said airport will be located at Nkwantanang-Ahinase in the Kwaku East District of the Eastern Region.
