In a bid to support national security and improve working conditions for law enforcement officers, a leading Ghanaian travel agency, Erpreben Travel & Tour, has donated five air conditioners, valued at GHS 20,000.00, to the Osu District Police in a brief ceremony at the Police Command in Osu, Accra.
The donation, which forms part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, aimed to motivate and promote effective policing.
The gesture was inspired by a visit to the police station by Dr. Eric Kofi Sam, the Chief Executive Officer of Erpreben Travel & Tour, who observed the poor state of the station's office environment.
According to Dr. Eric Kofi Sam, the officers were working in excessive heat within the offices.

Touched by the conditions under which the officers worked, Dr. Sam pledged to provide air conditioning units to help create a more conducive and comfortable work environment.
Speaking at the presentation, Dr. Sam said that the company believes that security personnel are doing their best to protect Ghanaians and deserve a serene, dignified, and comfortable workplace to enable them to work effectively.
He emphasised that the donation was their small way of appreciating the officers for the tough job of law enforcement in the Osu community where Erpreben operates.
Dr. Sam added that there were still more challenges faced by the police, so he appealed to other corporate bodies to support the command.
Receiving the items, the Osu District Police Commander, Supt. Maister Klay, expressed profound appreciation to Erpreben Travel & Tour for their timely support.
He noted that the air conditioners would greatly enhance staff morale and productivity and called on other private sector players to emulate such patriotic gestures.

Erpreben Travel & Tour, which was founded in 2018, has become an obvious choice of brand in the travel and tourism industry that continues to distinguish itself not only through its top-tier travel services but also through its dedication to social impact.
The company provides a comprehensive range of services, including flight bookings, visa assistance, hotel reservations, study-abroad placement, and tour packages for both local and international travellers.
This donation adds to the growing list of CSR projects undertaken by Erpreben as the company continues to bridge the gap between business success and social responsibility.
