Ghana international, Michael Essien is hoping to sign an extended contract at Stamford Bridge.Chelsea are ready to reward Essien with a new improved deal for his impressive performances this season.The former Lyon midfielder still has three years to run on his current contract, but Essien admits he would be happy to extend it even further.Essien says he is happy in West London and is enjoying his football at Chelsea."I am very happy in England and love Chelsea.
