The exclusive launch introduced two exceptional electric vehicles — the Geely Riddara RD6 and the Geely Geome Panda Mini — designed to redefine the future of transportation in Ghana and across Africa.
The launch event was graced by the impressive gathering of selected industry leaders, government representatives, corporate executives, environmental advocates, and media personalities, all united by a shared commitment to sustainable progress.
EV House LTD, a subsidiary of Accra EV (GH) LTD, is a premium electric car and pickup truck marketing, fleet management, and e-mobility solutions company dedicated to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs). The company’s mission is to enable businesses, governments, and individuals to transition smartly and efficiently to electric mobility. EV House LTD’s products allow business and government fleet customers to “do more and spend less.”
EV House LTD was founded and is led by Edward T. Hightower, a global automotive industry senior executive with over three decades of experience – between Ford, BMW, and GM – in automotive and electric vehicle engineering, marketing, industrialization, and business leadership. He also spent three years turning around a struggling start-up EV manufacturer in the US as the CEO & President. Hightower is also the author of the book, Motoring Africa: Sustainable Automotive Industrialization, published in 2018.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Hightower shared EV House’s vision for the future, emphasizing the company’s commitment to advancing Ghana’s transition toward cleaner, more sustainable transportation, and the localization of the EV industry in Ghana.
“Our mission at EV House is to empower Ghanaians to drive the future — a future that’s cleaner, more efficient, and proudly made for Africa,” said Mr. Hightower. “We are not just selling cars; we are building an ecosystem that connects Ghana to the global electric vehicle industry.” Together, we can make Ghana a leader in sustainable transportation across the continent.”
