Celebrated and ace media personality Akumaa Mama Zimbi says she does not and will never react to rumours about her because it is a waste of her time.
According to the ‘Sex Doctor’, she has heard rumors such as being married to a “white man”, she not being married, she not having kids, among others.
Speaking to JoyNews' Becky on the EVIBES show, Akumaa Mama Zimbi said these rumours, first of all, are not true and would rather not waste her time explaining herself.
“I have heard a lot of rumours but I leave them, because it is not the truth. People say I am not married; it is not true. People say I do not have kids; it is not true. People say I have married many times; it is not true. People say I have married a white man; it is not true. So all the rumors are not true so I don’t waste my time on them,” Akumaa Mama Zimbi explained.
She further stated that as a public figure, you must always shield the privacy of your family from the “star world' because they are not public figures.
“I went to school, and I learnt about ethics. So if you are a public figure, you put your family out of it. They are not public figures and it is always safe when you do that. That’s why you don’t find my husband and children in the public space. They are there alright, on various social media platforms. When the need comes to see them, you will see them,” Akumaa Mama Zimbi said.
This and many more revelations were made on the EVIBES show with Becky.
EVIBES is a weekly programme that delves into the background of the country’s celebrated personalities who are doing tremendous work in their chosen field of work cutting across sectors.
