British Airways Ghana has launched new and exciting on-board menus from Accra to London incorporating regional flair of both destinations.
According to British Airways the new menus are in recognition of Ghana strong roots in tradition and culinary heritage.
The British carrier adds that the new menu include flavourful cuisine prepared with traditional cooking methods and using fresh local ingredients.
Kevin Leung, British Airways’ Commercial Manager for Ghana said “we are very excited to have just launched a new on-board menu from Accra to London, which is in response to feedback received from our Ghanaian passengers.
“Our BA Design Chef worked closely with our local catering partner in order to develop an understanding of traditional Ghanaian food and the way it is cooked and prepared. With the new menu, customers will now be able choose from a range of local Ghanaian and Western dishes.”
The new menu would include dishes such as:
• Smoked Tuna Tartare, wasabi and lime cream with blinis.
• Grilled Grouper, Waakye sautéed cabbage with red peppers with Shitto sauce.
• Spicy chicken stew, jollof rice, green peas, and Kelewele
• Grilled Fillet of Beef spring onion potato gratin, carrots asparagus and leeks with a morel mushroom sauce.
