The Managing Director of Eximguarantee Ghana, Felicity Acquah has hinted that Eximguarantee Ghana is hoping to boost its capital base in order to handle bigger deals.“The company has been providing advances to various sectors including construction and commodity financing with a capital strength including a guarantee fund of over 70 billion cedis, there isn’t much that the company can do compared to a typical Eximguarantee bank in other countries’’ she stated.
The Managing Director however indicated that her company is set to change and further embark on a process to mobilize additional funds from government, its shareholders and other sources to become a giant Eximguarantee bank.
“The company is equally mobilizing funds from the sub-region to support its business company to boost of huge capital beyond 200 billion cedis to do what similar institutions do” she added.
Felicity Acquah was adjudged the marketing woman of the year by the chartered institute of marketing Ghana and was on the Super Morning Show.
