The recently-crowned champion prestigious Trophy Hassan II PGA Golf tournament wants managers of the sport on the continent of Africa to expose children to more tournaments so they can blossom into great players.
Gonzalez is enjoying the highest point of his professional career after winning his first PGA title at the Hassan II Trophy tourney played at the Royal Dar Es salam Golf Course in Rabat, Morocco.
"I want the various associations to organize a lot more tournaments and ensure that the players are getting more playing time," Added to that, "I want to urge the golfers themselves to practice even more.
"The children must be given the opportunity to play more at tournaments so that they can become great plers," he told Joy Sports moments after his win.
The tournament had only four African players - an indication that a lot more work needs to be done by players from the continent to feature on that big stage.

Coincidentally, Gonzalez makes these comments on the back of the launch of the International Schools Sport Federation's (ISF) maiden International Schools Golf Championship.
The event, which will tee off in 2025, will draw participation from as many of its 134 member countries as possible.
"The 2027 rights are also open for bidding, and Ghana can take advantage of it just like other nations to host the event," ISF President Laurent Petrynka told Joy Sports in a separate interview.
Gonzalez clinched his dream title after completing a total of 209 strokes, which is 10 under par.
This performance pushed Denmark's Thomas Bjorn into second place after hitting a total of 210 strokes (9 under par).
The Hassan II Trophy drew in some some legends including Scotland’s Colin Montgomerie the 1997 champion and eight-time European Number One and Spain’s Santiago Luna, tournament record-holder with three victories (1998, 2002 and 2003).
