The medical director of Obengfo Hospital at Weija in Accra, Dr Dominic Obeng Andoh was Thursday invited by the Food and Drugs Authority for questioning over allegations he was conducting surgeries illegally.
The invitation is in connection with plastic surgeries the 'doctor' is said to have conducted at the facility which have resulted in life threatening complications to patients.
Joy News has learnt that the questioning has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Medical Association has begun investigation into the authenticity of documents of the Obengfo Hospital at Weija in Accra after Joy News’ investigations into operations of the facility revealed the owner and medical officer in-charge, Dr. Dominic Obeng Andoh does not have the license to practice as a surgeon.
