A two-bedroom self-contained apartment at Tsito–Awudome Gborkorpe in the Volta Region was destroyed by fire on Monday, December 8, leaving the property completely ruined but causing no injuries.
The Ho Municipal Fire Station received a distress call at 4:54 p.m. and immediately dispatched a response team led by Station Officer II Michael Segbedzi.
By the time firefighters arrived, the building was already engulfed in flames.

The crew launched a defensive operation to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading to neighboring structures within the compound.
The fire was brought under control by 6:30 p.m. and fully extinguished seven minutes later.
The Ghana National Fire Service noted that their quick response prevented what could have escalated into a larger community disaster.
No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
