On September 24, 2024, Flexi-Space Limited, a registered air-conditioning contractor, launched the Midea VC MAX Air-Conditioner at a grand event held at the British Council Hall in Accra. The Managing Director of Flexi-Space Limited, Mr. Kwaku Agyenim-Boateng, warmly welcomed the gathering, expressing gratitude for their presence, and introduced the hardworking staff and management of the company.
Officials from the Midea Group, the global giant in HVAC technology, took centre stage to present the VC MAX VRF Series, highlighting the brand’s exceptional features and superior advantages over other air-conditioning systems. Mr. Edwin Huang, Regional Manager for Africa, gave an insightful introduction to the Midea Group's expertise in building technology and their wide-ranging solutions and services.

Two key officials from Midea, Mr. Jaden Lian, Head of Technical, and Mr. Kevin Cong Kaifeng, Director of the VRF Application Centre, elaborated on the VC MAX VRF Air-Conditioner. They explained the system’s innovative design, equipped with up to 17 monitoring sensors. These sensors can analyse real-time operational data and monitor the refrigerant system, ensuring stable and efficient operation. In case of a sensor failure, the system utilizes digital twin technology to create virtual sensors, allowing continuous operation for up to seven days without shutdown.
The official unveiling of the product was jointly performed by Mr. Agyenim-Boateng and Midea Group officials.

During the Q&A session, Mr. David Sarpong, General Manager in charge of technical operations at Flexi-Space Limited, reiterated the reliability of the VC MAX VRF system, citing its ability to maintain operation even in the event of sensor failure.
Speaking with the media, Mr. Agyenim-Boateng highlighted that this cutting-edge technology is exclusive to Midea and Flexi-Space Limited in Ghana. He recommended the system for use in industries, churches, auditoriums, offices, and factories.

As the official distributor of Midea air-conditioners in Ghana, Flexi-Space Limited offers comprehensive services, including design, installation, material supply, and technical guidance, simplifying VRF project implementation.
The event concluded with a lucky draw where clients of Flexi-Space Limited were awarded Midea products. Among the high-profile attendees were industry players, clients, and notable dignitaries, including the Vice Chairman of the Public Services Commission, Dr. Mrs. Irene Stella Agyenim-Boateng.
