The World Health Organisation (WHO) has announced that Ghana’s Food and Drug Authority (FDA) has attained the level three regulatory status.
The Country-Director, Dr Neema Kimambo presented the confirmation letter to the FDA through the Health Ministry.
She said this makes the FDA in Ghana one of only two countries in Africa and 52nd in the world to attain the level three status.

The Level three status is the second highest in the four-tiered WHO classification.
