Rev. Daniel Annan, Resident Pastor of Universal Gospel Center, has described forgiveness as the costliest gift anyone can offer to restore love in broken relationships.
Speaking on Let’s Talk on Joy Prime with Aseiduwaa Akumia, he emphasised that reconciliation cannot take place without genuine forgiveness.
“Forgiveness is the best gift anyone can offer to reconcile a broken relationship,” Rev. Annan stated.
According to him, no relationship can survive without understanding, as many individuals believe their position is always right. He stressed that building understanding is essential when entering any relationship.
He explained that appreciation and empathy create a pathway to harmony. Taking time to understand people for who they are, he noted, opens a convincing avenue for peace and mutual growth.
Rev. Annan added that respect and dignity often grant individuals access into people’s lives, but such space must be handled carefully to avoid causing offence.
The pastor also warned about the destructive power of words during conflicts. He cautioned that in moments of anger, people may say deeply disrespectful things, including insults directed at a person’s family. Such words, he said, can cause lasting damage that a simple apology may not easily erase.
Rev. Annan concluded that “the best gift you can give to anyone to reconcile love is forgiveness,” reiterating that genuine forgiveness is what ultimately restores love and rebuilds broken bonds.
