Former Ghana captain John Mensah is reported to have signed a short-term deal with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
Mensah, 31, has been without a club since leaving French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes at the end of last season.
The rugged centre-back is eager to return to the pitch to see if he can gatecrash Ghana’s World Cup squad.
However, questions have been raised about Kotoko’s ability to register the player with the local transfer window closed.
