A former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kpandai Constituency, Kwadwo Tawiah Likpalmor has died.
The former NDC lawmaker passed on after battling a stroke at the Tamale Teaching Hospital on Tuesday, September 19.
The late Likpalmor who died at age 63, was an influential figure within the NDC for many years.
During his political career, Mr Likpalmor served as the MP for the Kpandai Constituency in the Northern region from 1992 to 2012.
He was a member of the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth Parliaments of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
In addition to his political contributions, the late MP also had a background as an educator and held the prestigious position of Principal Superintendent of the Ghana Education Service at one juncture in his career.
Mr. Tawiah leaves behind his wife and five children, leaving a legacy of dedicated public service.
