Four people are feared dead in an accident at Kyekyewere on the Accra-Kumasi Highway. The deceased includes a driver and conductor of a VIP bus.
The accident which occurred Thursday morning left many others injured. They have been rushed to the Nsawam government hospital for treatment.

Joy News’ Eastern Regional correspondent Kofi Siaw reported that the accident had two VIP buses and an articulated truck involved. According to him, one of the VIP buses believed to be travelling from Kumasi to Accra overtook another VIP bus but collided into the truck which was parked on the road. The police have refused to comment on the accident, at least for now.


Police say they are investigating the accident and will make formal comments later.
