The 2016 flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo Addo has presented what his party believes is the True State of the Nation Address.
It was a contradiction of the address presented by President John Mahama in Parliament last Thursday. In what is fast becoming a tradition, the party in opposition presents a different narrative to the official statement presented by the President.
The three-time flagbearer arrived at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons amidst lots of drumming and dancing. Party heavywieghts including former President John Kufuor have descended to the venue The main auditorium is packed.
