The family of late gospel singer, Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as KODA has announced arrangements for his final funeral rites.
The funeral will be held on Friday, July 5, at the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) on the Spintex Road in Accra.
The announcement was made at the one-week observation ceremony on Friday at Takoradi in the Western region.
Several gospel artistes including Pastor Joe Beecham and Uncle Ato were at the event to commiserate with his family.
KODA passed away in the early hours of Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Although the exact cause of his death was not disclosed, the family noted that he passed away following a brief illness.
The 45-year-old left behind his wife and three children
He was not just a singer but a producer who left an indelible mark on the Ghanaian music scene with songs such as ‘Nsempii,’ ‘Nkwa Abodoo,’ ‘Yapai,’ and ‘Adorso’.
His music resonated deeply with audiences, inspiring hope and faith.
