An author, Elder Patrick Martin Hagan of the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) Tarkwa in the Western Region, has launched his fourth book titled, 'Games Men Play That Women Hate.'
The 289-page book focuses on marital issues that have become a bother for society.
It also intends to correct some of the germane debilitating issues in a man’s world that have manacled the psychological states of most traditionally-minded men, for them to freely take their rightful places in the home as good generals.
Speaking at the launch in Tarkwa, Elder Hagan said the book consists of seventeen games gleaned from his over 15 years experience in counselling married people and those contemplating to marry.
He mentioned ‘Discussing Her Sex-life With a Third Party, Disgracing Her in Public, Having Side-Chick Who is Extravagant Than The Madam, Saving The World At The Expense of Home, Being Abusive and Intolerant, Selling Her for 'money', Treating Her As a Slave or Servant, Initiating Needless 'Cold Wars', among others, as some of the games in the book.

Elder Hagan emphasized that this was a four-packed book, adding that,"I am supposed to write on "Games men play that women hate", "Games women play that men hate", Games women play that men love" but then as a man l decided to write this one first.
"The other ones would come to compliment all the things that marital people were supposed to know"he noted.
The book received seven endorsements from great individuals with sterling performances in their fields, and a foreword by Apostle Eric K. Nyamekye, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost.
He said in order to ensure that it served a wider constituent globally, a lot of research was conducted using several books, articles, reports and other forms of literature to compliment the personal stories of people that have been cited in the book.
According to him, at the extreme end of the book, readers would find these resources under the bibliography section to help those who want to conduct further research on the subject.
To cap it up, an Index section has also been provided to help readers navigate their way through the book with the relevant words in tandem with the pages, Elder Hagan noted.
"So, all in all, this book that we’re have outdoored, which has its main content filling about 256 pages out of the 289 total pages, was a classic piece of literature work that would add to world knowledge as it provides exciting information that even goes beyond the purview of marital relationships" the author added
He further indicated that his vision for this book was to translate it into about one hundred languages so that the message could go down very well to people across different nations.
Against this backdrop, he added that a student of his, who is currently domiciled in China and is also an Elder of the Church of Pentecost there, has promised to help translate it into the Chinese language.
He appealed to Ghanaians to support him through their generous contributions so he could bless the world with these spirit-filled writings that has the power to free people from bondage.
In his remarks, Elder John Arthur, the Area Deacon for the Church of Pentecost, Tarkwa Area, who chaired the function, commended the author for exhibiting the great gift God has given him to benefit the world.
He encouraged every Ghanaian to grab a copy of the book to promote the marvelous work Elder Hagan began years back and also gain vital knowledge for their lives.
This fourth book launch also marked Elder Hagan's 20th anniversary since he had his first publication in 2003.
