Ghana Football Association Vice President George Afriyie says he is not afraid to contest for FA presidency because he has the master plan to succeed his boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Afriyie has been touted as a strong candidate to take over from Kwesi Nyantakyi, who has decided not to seek re-election when his tenure expires next year.
And although he hasn’t made up his mind yet, the experienced administrator is very confident of winning should he vie for the top job.
"I know the terrain, so if i decide to contest I know how I would run the campaign," he told Asempa FM
"I haven't declared my intentions to contest for GFA president, however, if I do, there are processes to go through."
Several football administrators, past and present, have expressed their desire to occupy the seat. Names like Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe and Herbert Mensah have come up for discussion.
George Afriyie has been serving as the Vice President since 2015. He took over from Fred Crentsil.
