A member of the Ghana football association legal committee Ernest Thompson has called the bluff of lawyers representing former black stars Goran Stevanovic.
The legal representatives of the former Black Stars coach are threatening to proceed to FIFA if the Ghana football association refuses to comply by their order.
Goran Stevanovic’s 14-day ultimatum to the Ghana Football Association settles him his 820,000 Euros compensation ends on Wednesday.
According to Ernest Thompson, the football association is not worried about the ultimatum handed by the Serbian trainer.
“The FA needs not to worry about that since we did not accept a liability letter to pay the amount he is requesting within the 14-days”. He told JOY Sports
“He can go ahead and do whatever he wants to do because we are prepared for him”.
Stevanovic had ten months left on his contract when it was terminated last month for failing to win the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations. He played 17 competitive matches won nine, lost four and drew four.
