The Ghanaian-German Economic Association (GGEA) has held its annual business forum dubbed "Doing Business with Germany."
The forum was part of activities to celebrate the German Unity Day anniversary of the year. The forum was a journey through the path of unlocking business potentials in Germany and sourcing financing partnerships.
The highly-packed programme offered the platform for discussion not only on how to do business with Germany, but viable business opportunities, overcoming the challenges of logistics and freight handling as well as various financial support the private sector can tap into both locally and abroad.
The forum also equipped attendants on how to overcome bottlenecks regarding stringent export requirements to the EU market among others.
This year’s event which was held under the patronage of the German Ambassador, Daniel Krull drew participants from both local and foreign companies as well as SMEs across all sectors.
The event which was sponsored by Consolidated Shipping AG Ltd and the Tema based engineering and mining services provider Riepco Ghana Ltd is one of the many platforms by GGEA for industry giants as well as SMEs to network and strike business relationships that will blossom to good partnerships.
The President of the Association, Stephen Antwi, in his address indicated that the GGEA would be doing a lot of work in facilitating partnerships between Ghanaian and German companies.
