In his remarks, Mr Ampratwum-Sarpong recalled the longstanding relationship between the two countries and Japan’s continuous support towards Ghana’s development.
He further commended the Japanese Government for being a reliable development partner of Ghana.
In his response, the Ambassador of Japan to Ghana, Mr Hisanobu, expressed appreciation to the Government of Ghana for cooperating with Japan in areas of mutual interest and indicated his government’s continuous commitment to collaborate with Ghana on upcoming projects and other areas of mutual interest.
