The Executive Board of Ghana Athletics has set August 10 for its quadrennial elective congress.
A new president, as well as a first and second vice - mandated to be female, will be elected.
Candidates for the position are required to represent a member association, with their nomination forms signed by a member association chairman or Secretary General.
Nomination forms will not be accepted at the GA office after Tuesday July 11.
Details for the processes of Congress are indicated below:
- Nomination forms must be submitted to the CEO on or by Tuesday 11th July 2023
- The congress agenda and the list of nominees will be published on Tuesday 18th July 2023
- All members shall submit their delegate list by July 18th 2023
- Any proposed motion or constitutional amendment should be sent to the CEO by the Thursday 13th July 2023
- Only delegates representing members shall be allowed to attend and vote
- The nomination forms are attached.
There will also be elections for a treasurer, organising secretary and a deputy organising secretary.
