The local Ghana Black Stars beat their Togolese counterparts by two goals to nil in the ongoing Africa Nations Championship at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Sunday.
The first goal came through a spot kick which was beautifully converted by Eric Bekoe in the first half.
The second goal which completely destabilised the Togolese team came in the second half.
The game was generally one-sided as the Togolese failed to lift their game.
The performance of the Black Stars was not that impressive either.
The second leg will be played in two weeks time.
In the domestic league, Liberty Professionals played a goalless draw with Ashantigold.
